About Thomas
I’m an experienced language tutor with over 13 years of teaching Thai to students of all levels.
I studied Thai at the University of Copenhagen and later continued my studies at Srinakharinwirot University in Bangkok. Having lived in Thailand for over 11 years, I bring both academic knowledge and real-world language experience to my teaching.
In addition to Thai, I also teach English and Danish, and I’m fluent in all three languages.
Outside of teaching, I work as a sound designer and composer and my hobbies are Table Tennis and Fitness.

My teaching focuses on practical, real-life language skills, things you will actually need and use in everyday situations. Over the years, I have developed my own teaching materials, which we use as a structured guide throughout our lessons.
I ensure that students remember and apply what they have learned in previous lessons, so progress remains steady and effective.
Lessons include:
• Daily conversation
• Repetition
• Pronunciation (including understanding the 5 Thai tones)
• Reading and writing
• Grammar
For complete beginners, we do not start with reading and writing right away. Instead, we begin with a simple and practical transcription system to build a strong foundation before moving on to the more complex Thai script.
I also integrate cultural context into my teaching, as language and culture are deeply interconnected.
Students receive homework to reinforce what they have learned between lessons.
