Utilising a multi-faceted teaching approach, I employ the Direct Method and Communicative Language Teaching (CLT), to optimise vocabulary retention. The Direct Method forms the core, gradually integrated with CLT to foster practical language application. Additionally, judicious use of targeted translation further enhances comprehension. Each session, ranging from 30 to 45 minutes, is meticulously structured to accommodate learners of varying proficiency levels, encompassing beginners through to advanced. Aubrey is a very patient and experienced tutor. Through the years i have seen him teach different levels as well as students from different backgrounds.
I think some of his best qualities is that he is patient with his students and he understands the learning process quite well.
He also has a friendly way about him that invites each student to open up and feel at ease. He always has a big smile and encourages each student in their efforts, something that is very important in order to build up the student's confidence.
I think Aubrey is a great asset to any school.I have known Aubrey for a year, since we tutored together last year at a summer school. Aubrey is an extremely patient teacher who makes the extra effort to understand where a student is struggling and get back to basics to work with them from the ground up.
