About Zara
I have a passion for teaching and believe that every student can achieve in Maths given the right guidance and support. I am calm and patient and will happily explain ideas multiple times and in different ways in order for my students to fully understand the concept.

I will break the methods down into small parts and give plenty of modal example. We can then work through problems together until you have the confidence to practise independently. I know that some mathematical ideas can be hard to understand, so I will offer alternative methods and use different ways of representing them to make it easier to visualise.
I have 1.5 years experience teaching Maths at secondary schools in the UK, and 6 months at a school in Thailand. I have a First Class Honours degree in BSc Mathematics and a PGCE in Secondary Mathematics.
My lessons are for students aged 10 - 16 years of any ability. Lessons can be between 30 and 60 minutes depending on your preference.
