About Abja
I am a senior teacher with over 25 years of teaching and 3.5 years of administrative experience . I had been an ICSE examiner and taught Physics in middle and senior school till class X in a reputed ICSE school in Kolkata, and also taught mathematics in the middle school.

As I teach Physics, I prefer to introduce the topic by relating it to the physical quantities in and around us. From there I elaborate on each and every sub topic, pausing every time to discuss the probable questions and the reasoning behind those. I prefer to take small assessments by dividing one chapter into two/three parts, supplemented by the numericals. I have seen that the retention of the students become maximum if taught in this manner. I usually take a quiz at the end of every topic.
I also use visuals to teach the experiments or any concept which needs a little bit of illustration. Sometimes I also use movie clippings to relate to a concept.
For assessments, I usually club together a few chapters and prepare the questionnaire according to the guidelines prescribed by the board.
