I am an experienced English teacher for students of diverse backgrounds. I specialize in reading comprehension, essay writing, and test preparation.
My lessons are thoughtfully planned and tailored to each student’s needs, combining clear instruction, guided practice, and constructive feedback. I focus on helping students understand why strategies work, so they can apply them independently across assignments and exams - and even in real life!

My teaching approach is student-centered, with an emphasis on helping students become confident writers and prepared test-takers. I meet each student where they are academically and emotionally, then guide them with clear, consistent expectations.
I combine explicit instruction with guided practice and ongoing feedback. My lessons are ideal for middle and high school students (grades 6–12) - students who struggle with writing essays, preparing for standardized tests, or feel anxious and overwhelmed by English.
Whether a student needs ongoing academic support or tailored test preparation, my goal is always the same: to help students grow skills, gain confidence, and foster a love for English.
