About Wilson
I am a structural engineer with almost 3 years experience and nearing chartered status.
I graduated at Imperial College London with MSc Advanced Structural Engineering (Distinction) and multiple prizes. Prior to this, I obtained a BEng in Civil Engineering from Hong Kong. My own experience as an overseas student equips me to understand the unique challenges you face. During my undergraduate years, I initially struggled but developed effective study techniques that transformed my performance. I am confident in sharing these insights to elevate your learning.
In my professional career, I have actively contributed to various high-profile projects, including the 1915 Çanakkale Bridge - the suspension bridge with longest main span in the world, and the Fehmarn Belt fixed link - the world's longest combined road and rail tunnel.

A free 1-hour starter session will be arranged to understand your needs and the suitable learning style. Each subsequent lesson will typically be 1-2 hours.
I like to explain complex concepts using simple basics supplemented by real-life examples. I will also explain how these engineering principles can be applied in the industry so you know you are learning something useful ;)
My services include both teaching and coursework guidance. These are available in English, Chinese and Cantonese.
