About Monica
I am a dedicated and compassionate Special Needs Education teacher with experience supporting children and young people with diverse learning needs, including Autism, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, and visual impairments. I also teach Mathematics, helping learners build confidence, improve academic performance, and achieve their personal goals.
My passion is creating inclusive, engaging, and supportive learning experiences where every student feels valued and capable of succeeding. I believe that every learner has unique strengths, and I adapt my teaching methods to suit individual abilities, learning styles, and pace. My lessons are personalized to meet each learner's individual needs, learning style, and academic goals. I specialize in Mathematics and Special Needs Education, including support for learners with Autism, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, and other learning differences.
I use engaging, practical, and learner-centered teaching methods that build confidence, improve understanding, and encourage independent learning. Every lesson is carefully planned using differentiated instruction, visual aids, interactive activities, and where appropriate, assistive technologies and AAC communication strategies.
