We have to be INTERESTED and ENGAGED in order to learn a foreign language. I use an approach called comprehensible input, where the learner is provided with comprehensible material and challenged to learn small bits at a time. I believe in lots of repetition and circling back to the 16 most common verbs in the language. I use fun material like engaging stories and fun videos to make learning interesting yet meaningful. I have TONS of interesting resources that encourage conversation and engagement. I am a lively teacher who can motivate even the shyest of students to talk.
