About Jennifer
I love teaching and working with teenagers! I am very empathetic and adaptable to meet the needs of learners where they are and how they are feeling. A big focus of mine is empowering students with the skills they need to access the curriculum with study skills, executive functioning tools, organization, and more.
I have extensive education, including over 36 college credits past my Master's degree. If I don't know the answer, I will seek to learn it.

-With 17 years of experience, I have become very good at personalizing lessons to the learner's needs. I have a "toolbox" of resources, apps, and background knowledge in effective education.
-I work with grades 7-12 on work, but also I have extensive experience teaching adult learners.
-I am licensed to teach all social studies subjects in the state of Iowa, along with being certified in special education. I am comfortable teaching or tutoring any social studies class.
