About Jasmine
I am an Economics graduate from the University of Edinburgh completing a Master's in Law at Queen's University Belfast. I have 3 years of formal tutoring experience and also ran exam preparation workshops for my peers whilst at secondary school. I have tutored students undertaking GCSEs, A-levels, IB and Scottish Highers. I also have extensive experience working with primary school aged children. I am passionate about helping students gain confidence and achieve the grades that they are capable of.

I tailor my approach to each individual student, taking their goals, personality and learning style into account when planning tutoring sessions. I think it’s important to understand the interests of the student in order to pique their interest in the subject and give them the motivation to study.
I emphasise the link between topics to show students the importance and efficiency in understanding key concepts. Active engagement of the student is an essential part of the learning process and will ensure that the material covered in lessons will remain in their long-term memory. Going through exam-style questions is a great revision method, not only because it introduces active recall, but because we can also look at exam technique and the best way to approach different types of questions.
I am available to give online lessons and my hours are flexible!
