About Shauna
Hola, my name is Shauna and I have been teaching Spanish for 4 years. I studied Spanish in my BA at UCD and obtained my official SIELE Spanish proficiency certificate. I also lived in Spain for over a year. My background in linguistics and my deep understanding of the mechanisms of language give me a unique perspective when it comes to teaching. Having studied grammar, syntax and semantics, I can explain these concepts in a way that is no longer intimidating, but logical and easy to grasp for anyone. My TEFL qualification offers me valuable insight into second language teaching methods which can be just as successfully applied to Spanish. SIELE Spanish Proficiency Certificate Level 5 Language Teaching Certificate 3+ years experience in language teaching privately and secondary school level, in both Ireland and Spain. Offering Spanish lessons for all ages and levels! Whether you want to learn Spanish for your Junior/Leaving Cert, for fun, for vacation or to fulfill your professional or educational goals we will enhance your strengths and improve your areas of difficulty. Lessons can be done online or in-person in South Dublin areas. *in-person classes will incur a small displacement fee for travel.

Shauna has helped me learn Spanish to get me confidente enough to move to Spain! She has been incredibly helpful with her tutoring methods, making it easy for me to learn as fast as possible. She is very friendly and fun to be around.
