About Martins
I’m a university student with 3+ years of private tutoring experience. Over this time, I’ve helped 20+ students work towards their academic goals.
Having experienced the challenges of studying and preparing for exams myself, I understand how frustrating it can be when a topic simply doesn’t “click”. My goal is to make mathematics clear and approachable, while giving you the tools to become a more independent and confident learner.
I’m patient, attentive, and genuinely enjoy finding different ways to explain a difficult concept until it makes sense.

I teach SAT Math, general mathematics, and university preparation, adapting each lesson to your level and goals.
For SAT preparation, we combine targeted practice with exam strategy: understanding question patterns, improving speed and accuracy, managing time, and learning from mistakes.
For general and university mathematics, I focus on building strong foundations and understanding the reasoning behind each concept. We’ll work through examples together before applying the material independently, so you develop the confidence to solve unfamiliar problems on your own.
My classes are suitable for middle and high school students, SAT candidates, and university students looking to strengthen their mathematical foundations or prepare for further study.
