About Christopher
I am passionate about education and wholly believe that it is the key to having a wide range of choices as children grow up. I believe that in order to succeed in education, a teacher or tutor needs to be able to inspire, engage and enthuse their students by recognising them as individuals and tailoring the learning to their specific needs. This is the approach I have always taken in my classrooms with all of my students and what I bring to those I tutor on a 1:1 basis.

With 15 years' experience in the classroom, I am highly skilled in engaging and motivating students using a variety of different techniques tailored to the individual student's needs. Lessons will normally last around an hour, which allows students time to engage with the learning and then to put into practice the learning. As an experienced Primary School teacher who has worked across both KS1 and KS2 and supported children with all sorts of learning challenges, I am able to support children developing their reading and phonics skills, uplevelling their Maths or English skills and also supporting children in preparing for the 11+ or Secondary entrance exams.
