About Vanessa
I'm a language enthusiast. I believe everybody should be able to learn a second language because that makes us understand the world in a more varied way. I also love music and I'm a musician myself and that is the main reason that made me pursue a career in languages - I just love being able to sing in different languages and celebrate different cultures.

My Portuguese classes are mainly based on conversations and real uses of language. I design class materials and curriculum according to students' previous experiences and objectives.
Our classes are fun and you'll leave each class able to communicate something new in Portuguese. We'll learn culture, music, slang, History, vocabulary, grammar, and little by little, you'll understand what is like to be a Brazilian.
My classes are meant for everybody.
No matter if you're beginner or an advanced student who just wants to keep practicing the language, I'm the right teacher for you.
I also specialize in Portuguese as a Heritage Language for children and teenagers.
