About Lini
I am an experienced Piano tutor with 16 years of teaching experience, guiding school students, college learners, and working professionals. Over the years, I have helped students of all levels—from beginners to advanced learners—develop technical skills, confidence, and a lifelong love for music.
My teaching philosophy centres on clarity, patience, and steady progress. I focus on developing strong fundamentals, including hand coordination, finger technique, rhythm, sight reading, and music theory. I also encourage creativity, musical expression, and enjoyment of the learning process. Lessons are explained in simple English, using practical exercises, examples, and familiar songs to make concepts easy to understand and apply.
I design lessons according to the student’s age, skill level, and goals. For children, lessons are fun and interactive to keep them motivated. For adults and professionals, sessions are structured, flexible, and focused on efficient learning and performance preparation. Many students have performed successfully, passed graded exams, and developed long-term piano skills. Seeing my students grow and achieve their goals is my greatest accomplishment.

I teach with compassion, supportiveness, and effective communication. I believe every student has unique potential, and my role is to guide them patiently, positively, and creatively. In piano lessons, I focus on building technical skills, musical understanding, and creative expression while fostering confidence and enjoyment.
I break lessons into manageable steps, provide demonstrations, and encourage questions, experimentation, and active participation. Positive reinforcement and constructive feedback are central to my approach, helping students stay motivated and engaged.
I also teach other relevant subjects using the same adaptable, student-centred methodology. My goal is to help students achieve their goals, develop confidence, and cultivate a lifelong love for learning and self-expression.
