About Raya
Hi! I’m a piano teacher with over 9 years of experience and an Associate of Music in Piano Skills. I help students preparing for church services, theater productions, and live band performances. Lessons are customized to each student’s musical goals.
I teach chord structures, accompaniment techniques, sight-reading, and improvisation. Students learn to play confidently, support ensembles, and interpret music expressively. Each lesson emphasizes real-world application.
Lessons are interactive, motivating, and goal-focused. I guide students to become versatile, confident pianists who are ready to perform in any setting. Together, we turn practice into performance.

I teach piano with a focus on improvisation, musical spontaneity, and creative expression. Students learn jazz, blues, and pop improvisation while developing melodic ideas and comping skills. Lessons emphasize creating music on the spot.
