About Satyaki
Hi! I'm Satyaki, a BSc Physics (Honours) student at the University of Manchester with a passion for understanding how the universe works and helping others discover that same curiosity. Outside academics, I enjoy playing the guitar and performing at community events, which has taught me creativity, patience, and the confidence to communicate with people from all backgrounds. Whether I'm learning a new piece of music on the guitar or solving a challenging physics problem, I enjoy breaking complex ideas into simple, understandable steps. That passion naturally led me to tutoring, where I've spent over five years helping students build confidence and succeed in Maths and Physics. My journey as a tutor has not always been perfect — I've learned through mistakes, awkward moments, and challenges — but those experiences have shaped my teaching style and deepened my appreciation for helping students overcome their own difficulties.

My lessons are typically 1 to 1.5 hours long and are tailored to each student's goals and current level. I focus on building a strong conceptual understanding before moving on to challenging exam-style questions. Every lesson includes plenty of guided practice, and I dedicate at least 30 minutes to past paper questions to develop exam technique and confidence. Whether you're preparing for GCSEs, A Levels, AP courses, or the Maths in SAT, my goal is to help you understand the "why" behind every concept, reduce exam stress, and achieve the maximum grade there is to attain.

He is very patient and kind. He knows what he's saying and can properly explain things. He helped me a lot academically as I used to be in his group in school. He was my group leader, and I am very thankful for his help in math, physics, chemistry, and in general. Very bright man and gifted guy. Would definitely recommend him, especially for math. 10/10 tutor, no regrets at all. He tutored me for many math exams and always answered me nicely and politely, very patient with me even though sometimes I did not understand things the first time.
