About Irenee
I am a British immigrant to Aotearoa New Zealand.
After 30 years I have taught all age groups and had all roles in school from teacher aide to deputy principal.
I am passionate about education and believe in bestowing on my students the ability to learn. Children are not vessels to be filled with information they are treasures who are supported to reach their full potential. I work with families to get the best outcomes and offer flexibility to ensure buy-in from students.
Teaching is a privilege and I ensure that all involved benefit from the experience.

Easy going, bring the joy primary school teacher of 30 years; combining main stream skills with Montessori knowledge and additional pedagogy.
Lessons are 50 minutes to 1 and a half hours depending on age and circumstance.
