About Jose Mari
I am a passionate teacher ready to teach you from the heart at your own pace and your own convenience. Not only do I believe that teaching and learning should be fun; more importantly, your progress and positive learning experience is my ultimate goal.
My sense of fulfillment as a teacher comes from knowing that I have imparted my language skills and knowledge to my students that bring results. For me, teaching is not confined to the classroom; learning should take place even after class hours. That's why I make sure that I provide continuous support and feedback to my students.

My approach to private tutoring is tasked-based and student centered. This means that each lesson is designed to give plenty of time for the student to speak, read, write and listen using high quality audio and video. The learner is encouraged to work on learning activities and homework to reinforce learning. Typical length of lesson is 50 minutes for ages 12-25 from beginner to advanced levels. I hold a Bachelors degree in Communication with post graduate studies in Education major in English. I am a licensed, professional teacher with TESOL certification and have been teaching English for over 20 years.
