About Mike
I’m Mike; a TEFL Level 5–certified Business English tutor with an MBA in progress, and I specialise in helping adults improve their workplace communication clearly and confidently. My background includes supporting adult ESOL learners (18–40) to build fluency through relaxed, practical conversation, plus focused support on the language you actually need for work (meetings, emails, interviews, presentations, and day-to-day professional chat). I’ve also spent time in Japan through international training, which strengthened my cross-cultural awareness and the way I adapt my communication to different people and settings; a big help for real-world Business English. I’m known for calm, clear explanations, personalised goals, and supportive feedback that helps you feel comfortable, capable, and make steady progress.
