About Tony
I have been a teacher for many years. I was a specialist surgeon and taught Medical Students and Surgical Trainees. I have undertaken adult learning courses, student feedback courses and teaching courses provided by the Royal College of Surgeons. I have been an Senior Instructor at several of these courses. I have been an examiner for the College of Surgeons and to assess Foreign Trained Doctors trying to relocate to Australia. I am about to commence a Post Graduate Course at the Conservatorium in South Bank.

I tailor my teaching to the skills of the student. I am able to start from the early stages including teaching basic music theory through to the basics of the fretboard. I try to include finger exercises and the basics of plucking and strumming. I am totally self taught. I have a Fender Acoustic Guitar and a Fender Stratocaster with a practice amplifier. I have been a musician of one kind or another from the age of 15! The first guitar I played I had reconditioned fully myself! I have played in several bands and orchestras on Tuba and Clarinet.
