About Louis
Hey everyone, my name is Louis, I'm a Melbourne High School student who is incredibly avid about teaching and working with younger people, whether that be in the Cadet Unit, many bands, or in the classroom. My 1 on 1, personally tailored lessons are aimed at Primary-Junior High School students, and anyone who is willing to put in the time, dedication, and effort to become a high achiever. Qualifications: - Student at Melbourne High School, one of Victoria's most high-ranking academic selective schools. - Obtained scholarships over many years at previous schools - 5x Superiors in the Victorian Selective Entry Exam, required to attend any selective school in the state. - Participated and achieved awards in countless competitions and events throughout school career. Experience: - 1+ years as a music tutor - In-depth experience as a leader and educator (2+ years as an NCO in MHS Army Cadet Unit and Ceremonial Band, House Age-Group Leader)

I strive to make a fun, challenging environment for students to grow to their full potential. My past experiences as a student, mentor, and tutor have given me invaluable insight on how to create an environment that cultivates healthy growth, whether that be in the MHS Army Cadet Unit, many bands I participate in and lead, or more importantly, in the classroom. My classes are aimed at Primary-Junior High School students, and my passion is to generate growth in them as a mentor and educator.
I've tutored a number of young students over the past year, and have accumulated a broad range of experience in leadership and education, working with juniors and seniors alike.
To me, academics can be elevated not through quick hacks, but through diligence, dedication, and passion. I seek to bring these three fundamentals to life in my students, in order for them to have the best time learning and growing. I don't just look at academics, I look at they way students work, and offer insight on how to improve life in ways outside of the traditional method.
A typical lesson length: 1-2 hours, can be online, or directly at your home.
