About Chelsea
I am an enthusiastic individual with a love and passion for mathematics! I have always loved maths and empathised very well with those who don’t. I have 5 years experience tutoring mathematics and always felt a one-on-one approach allows students to gain the individual attention and support they need. I strive to not only teach mathematics but change the perception my students have towards it. I try to explain mathematics and link certain topics together to show students how everything can be linked together. My aim is to teach my students it is okay to get it wrong but to continuously keep trying and persevering. My goals are to help students achieve theirs!

My teaching style is unique to my students. No student learns or absorbs information in the same way as others. The biggest question in maths is “When am I ever going to use this again?”. I try t answer this question in all my lessons to give my students a practical understanding of maths. I aim to provide my students with the background knowledge and connections between sections in maths as no topic should be taught in isolation!
