About Simon
I've worked in education settings for over 30 years, both as a teacher and a manager. Teaching is always my passion to help students understand topics and support them in their learning development. I also believe that learning should be fun so I try to ensure that lessons are engaging and that students should enjoy the learning process.

My technique is to engage the learner and make situations relevant wherever possible. I like to encourage critical thinking so that learners can understand theory rather than rote learning. Lessons are typically 1 hour in length via Zoom. I have a BSc, MSc and MA in relevant subjects and a PGCE qualification. I have worked in Education for over 30 years and am now semi-retired. Lessons can be for any age and level (up to and including A Level) in Maths and Physics.
