About Ebenezer
I am a passionate Mathematics teacher with a strong academic background in Mathematical Sciences, with training in Mathematics and Actuarial Science. I enjoy helping students overcome their fear of Mathematics and develop the confidence to solve problems independently.
My teaching approach focuses on understanding rather than memorisation. I believe that every student can improve in Mathematics when concepts are explained clearly, patiently, and at the right pace.
I have experience teaching Mathematics in a school environment and working with students of different abilities. This has helped me understand that students learn differently, so I adapt my lessons to suit each learner’s strengths, weaknesses, and academic goals.
I can support students studying Cambridge IGCSE Mathematics, JHS Mathematics, SHS Core and Elective Mathematics, as well as selected introductory university Mathematics courses. I also assist students with examination preparation, past questions, homework, revision, and strengthening weak areas.
My goal is not only to help students obtain better grades, but also to help them understand Mathematics well enough to appreciate it, apply it confidently, and become independent problem-solvers.
I am patient, approachable, committed, and always willing to explain a concept in different ways until the student understands it.

My Mathematics lessons are designed to make difficult concepts simple, practical, and easy to understand. I use a step-by-step approach, starting from the learner’s current level and building confidence gradually.
Each lesson includes clear explanations, worked examples, guided practice, and exercises for independent practice. I also use past examination questions where appropriate to help students become familiar with exam techniques and common question patterns.
I teach Cambridge IGCSE Mathematics, JHS Mathematics, SHS Core and Elective Mathematics, and introductory university Mathematics. My lessons are tailored to each student’s needs, whether the goal is to improve weak areas, prepare for examinations, complete schoolwork, or build a stronger foundation in Mathematics.
I encourage students to ask questions freely, think through problems logically, and understand the reasoning behind each method instead of simply memorising formulas. Lessons can be offered one-to-one, in small groups, online, or face-to-face depending on availability and location.
