About Abhay
I am a dedicated Mathematics Tutor with more than 7 years of teaching experience helping students improve their confidence, understanding and academic performance in mathematics. I currently teach international students from Australia, UK, USA and Canada through personalized online lessons.
I specialize in teaching students from Year 6 to Year 10 and helping them prepare for school assessments, ICAS and NAPLAN examinations. My teaching approach focuses on conceptual understanding, clear explanations and structured problem-solving techniques to make mathematics easier and more engaging for students.
I believe every student can improve in mathematics with the right guidance, patience and consistent practice. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing confidence in their abilities.

My lessons are designed to help students understand mathematics through conceptual learning, step-by-step explanations, and structured problem-solving techniques. I teach students studying the Australian Curriculum from Year 6 to Year 10 and help with topics including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, statistics and exam preparation.
Each lesson is usually 60 minutes long and personalized according to the student’s learning style and academic goals. I focus on building confidence, improving problem-solving skills, and making mathematics easier and more engaging for students.
I have more than 7 years of teaching experience and currently teach international students from Australia, the UK, the USA, and Canada through online one-to-one classes. I also help students prepare for ICAS and NAPLAN mathematics examinations.
