About Noah

I am a Mathematics tutor with over 5 years of teaching experience and hold an MPhil in Mathematics. Over the years, I have worked with learners of all ages, helping them not only understand math but also feel more confident about it. My teaching philosophy is rooted in a holistic approach where I focus on reducing math anxiety and building self-belief in every student. I use growth mindset techniques to show that challenges are opportunities to learn, not roadblocks. Each student progresses at their own pace, and I adapt lessons to match their unique learning style and comfort level. Positive reinforcement plays a big role in my sessions. I celebrate small wins and guide learners patiently through mistakes, turning them into powerful learning moments. Many of my students have come to me feeling overwhelmed or defeated by mathematics, and together we work step by step to rebuild their confidence. I believe that mathematics is not just about solving problems—it is about discovering patterns, thinking logically, and strengthening resilience. By creating a supportive environment, I ensure students feel safe to ask questions, make errors, and grow steadily. With the right mindset, encouragement, and guidance, every learner can transform their relationship with mathematics. I look forward to helping you discover your natural ability to succeed and to see math as a subject you can truly enjoy.

My teaching approach is relaxed and application-focused, helping students see mathematics as a tool that connects directly with real-world and digital problems. I use programming analogies to explain complex ideas, making abstract concepts easier to understand and apply.

I focus not only on traditional maths but also on areas that bridge into computer science. These include coding logic, algorithmic thinking, discrete mathematics, and understanding computational processes. By combining these topics with problem-solving practice, I make sure learning feels practical and useful.

Students are encouraged to explore both structured problem-solving and creative thinking. I help them learn how to communicate naturally and comfortably about computational and mathematical problems, removing the fear of making mistakes. Step by step, they develop confidence in tackling proofs, logical structures, and real-world challenges.

I work well with learners who enjoy building and designing solutions (Architects) and those who are curious about exploring deeper proofs and reasoning (Proof Seekers). My guidance ensures that both styles are nurtured and supported.

Whether it is exam preparation, assignments, or developing critical skills for future studies, I provide clarity, motivation, and structure. My goal is not only to teach formulas but to show how mathematics can integrate seamlessly into digital life. With the right approach, every student can excel and feel empowered by their mathematical journey.
