About Stefanie
I am a senior university student, finishing up my bachelor's in mathematics with an option in statistics. Working in tutorial centers, college classrooms, and one-on-one with students for the last 3 years, I have experience with both in-person and online tutoring.

My goal is to be a guide for the students I work with, making sure to create a warm, welcoming environment for them. Centering the teaching method on the student’s understanding of the subject, I begin with assessing where the student starts having trouble, going back to the fundamentals if necessary. Then I work through the problem with the student at their own pace. Rather than me strictly telling them everything to do, I want my students to feel a sense of control of their learning to help foster a love for learning.
