About William
Having four and a half years' experience in childcare and intermittent to "full-time" math tutoring, I am confident I can provide each student with what he or she will need, while also keeping it chill and not a "drag" to pick up the textbook every session.

Understanding why arithmetic is important is the first step toward motivating students to learn it. I want to show students the why, as well as the how, of mathematics. I believe a little consistent practice is worth more than a lot of inconsistent practice, like daily sunshine on a tree, slowly helping it grow.
I will assess a student's abilities along with their aptitudes to create a hybrid "plan of action" that will keep them accountable but also actually excited to learn more.
These lessons are directed toward children 5-12, but I am confident I can assist other ages if they are willing to learn and math is something they need help with! I am flexible, but focused on helping each individual child excel and stay excited about it!
