About Phil
20 years teaching high school algebra, geometry, algebra 2, and trigonometry.
Class sizes ranging from 15-35. I have just one year experience teaching trigonometry, and most of my years consists of Algebra 2 and geometry. Generally, one or two classes of algebra 1 each year as well.

My methodology includes self exploration through leading questions, backed up with example problems. I like to work examples not only myself for the student to view, but work them with the student as they complete parts with my help until they can complete problems on their own without my help.
