About Evan
Hi, I’m Evan, a native English speaker from Ireland. - I’ve been an English language teacher for more than 6 years, teaching from young learners (aged 3 to teens) all the way up to Business English adult group classes. - I have a TEFL Certificate and a Master's Degree. - I plan on completing my PhD in the not-so-distant future. I’m an active teacher who likes to make things interesting in the classroom. I’m a big believer in preparation and believe the right prep can completely change the learning experience. A strong language foundation is important in order to build on it in the future. Grammar needs to be simplified, then shown how it can be used, and followed up with students practicing using a variety of sentence structures. I'm available to teach shorter classes, 30 minutes all the way up to 2 hours. If you have any questions, please let me know. Thank you.
