I use an interactive and immersive teaching approach, tailoring lessons to each student's interests and learning goals to make Chinese learning engaging and effective. My Teaching Method: Incorporate real-life conversations, practical examples, and multimedia resources (such as videos, news articles, and music) to help students learn Chinese naturally. Focus on all aspects of language learning—listening, speaking, reading, and writing—while also covering pinyin, grammar, and cultural background for a deeper understanding. Encourage students to speak more in a relaxed and supportive environment to build confidence in using the language. Utilise online whiteboards, digital textbooks, practice exercises, and mock exams (HSK, GCSE, etc.) to support structured learning. Lesson Duration: Standard lessons are 60 minutes, but session length can be adjusted based on students' needs. Qualifications & Experience: Native Chinese speaker with a clear and standard Mandarin accent. Certified in Mandarin proficiency. Bachelor’s degree from a top 50 university in China and currently pursuing a PhD in the UK. Strong academic background. Years of experience in online Chinese tutoring, having worked with students of different levels and helped many pass HSK, GCSE, and other Chinese language exams. Who These Lessons Are For: Absolute beginners who want to start with pinyin and basic conversations. Learners with some background who want to improve their speaking, pronunciation, writing, and reading skills. Students preparing for HSK, GCSE, A-Level, or other Chinese language exams. Professionals or travellers interested in Chinese culture and looking to improve their language skills. Whether you're starting from scratch or aiming to refine your Chinese proficiency, I will create a customised learning plan to help you achieve your goals with confidence!
