About Henry
My name is Henry and the reason I enjoy teaching is very simple - I love to learn. There is one thing more precious to my progress as a language learner than any other - a ‘good teacher’. However, how do we even define one? I believe it is
passionate curiosity that transforms a regular teacher into a good teacher. Fortunately my curiosity and passion for French has only increased from when it started a decade ago.
Whilst learning French over the past 10 years I have identified more effective techniques than the traditional teaching methods. These enhancements I made to my learning are were invaluable to me whilst aiming to become ‘fluent’ in French - and I just want to share them.

My lessons will be different. I will cover anything I deem as necessary for your personal learning goals but I will also offer you a choice. On the one hand, I can offer a more traditional approach, including all the ‘typical’ aspects of French teaching in schools, but with some new methods to help you learn more and faster. Alternatively, I am willing to let you choose your own priorities as a French learner and accept your own choice of topic and/or grammatical focus. As an individual who became fluent in French just under 3 years ago, I believe i can offer a more relevant and effective tutorial approach. My understanding of modern language learning and the motivation to learn will help you reach your goals and improve your French!
