About Glen
I initially studied for a BA (hons) in Middle Eastern Studies with Arabic, before completing a Master's in the sociology of religion from Cardiff University, followed by a PhD in sociology of religion. I am currently a lecturer at The University of Hertfordshire and have taught religious studies and sociology at Cardiff University, the University of Birmingham and Newman University. In addition to working at universities I also have experience in high school and further education settings

I take a student-centred approach to teaching. I will spend some time getting to know my students in order to provide fun and engaging content. I believe that the best way to communicate ideas to students is to find points of relevance for students. There will be a lot of humour and jokes!
