About Luisa
I have been tutoring for the past five years, mainly in Spanish and English, with some Italian and French too. As well as private tutoring for both adults and children, I have worked as a school language assistant in Spain and France and therefore have broad experience in different teaching approaches. I have tutored complete beginners to advanced learners and am confident to support students at any level with different goals and needs. As well as tutoring,I have 12 years' experience learning languages, which gives me a thorough understanding of the needs of language learners and effective ways to approach the process.

My tutoring approach is highly adaptable to the individual needs and interests of each student and prioritises enjoyment of the learning process. I decide together with the student which topics they want to cover and in what way, then I create activities that exercise all linguistic abilities (reading, writing, speaking and listening) based on these topics. I am also happy to work from textbook programmes, but always make sure that each lesson includes a variety of activities. I'm a friendly person and enjoy engaging with my students - languages are all about communication so I find it's important to develop a good rapport.

Perfect! Luisa is a great teacher! Her teaching method is dynamic and efficient, "tailor made" on student's needs.
Professionalism, experience, punctuality mixed with fun and flexibility, make her lessons very enjoyable.
I attended a French course to improve my language skills in my job with excellent results! Very recommended- A great enthusiastic student with a consistent approach and really positive attitude. Conversational ability is good and grasp of grammar concepts, including more complex constructions, is sound. Good areas to work on are use of tenses and pronunciation.Luisa's response :

I have been tutored by Luisa in French for several months and find her very patient and her lessons are very well organised and structured. She pays great to detail and is not phased by going over aspects that I don’t understand. Luisa appears to enjoy sharing her knowledge of languages with her students and her teaching style is both effective and enjoyable. She is a very good tutor and inspires confidence.
Luisa, brilliant girl, very prepared and always available with her patience. We studied but also enjoyed her methods, especially outdoors around the city. Thanks to her I was able to start English school at a higher level that I would not have believed.
