About Paul
A quick intro about myself - I went to Columbia and have been tutoring part-time for 10 years because I love teaching math (I've taught every level and achieved a perfect score on every college admission math test). I have helped countless students also achieve perfect scores on SAT Math, SAT II Math IIC, and AP Calc AB & BC.

My teaching method is to first understand what the student's level of understanding about a class, then build an actionable short-term and medium-term plan for the student. I can tailor a lesson plan to any student's pace, and I encourage each student to build a level of trust where he or she can feel comfortable saying that he/she does not understand a specific topic. From there, I try to focus on the "why" of the specific topic first, then go into the "how."
