About Maria
Hello! My name is Maria, and I am a High Level Teaching Assistant with experience teaching and supporting children across all primary school year groups.
I have always been passionate about helping children learn, grow in confidence, and discover that they are capable of achieving more than they think. Every child learns differently, and I enjoy finding creative and engaging ways to make learning enjoyable, accessible, and rewarding.
Over the years, I have worked with children of all abilities, delivering classroom teaching, supporting interventions, and helping pupils overcome challenges in subjects such as English and Maths. One of the most rewarding parts of my role is seeing a child gain confidence, master a new skill, or begin to believe in themselves.
I decided to offer tutoring because I want to provide children with the individual attention and encouragement that can make a real difference to their learning journey. My aim is not only to help children make academic progress but also to help them develop confidence, resilience, and a positive attitude towards learning.
I look forward to helping your child reach their full potential in a supportive, friendly, and enjoyable learning environment.
