About Lena
Hey! My name is Lena, and I'm hoping to be your tutor! I’m super excited to help you tackle math in all levels and make learning as easy and enjoyable as possible. A little about me—I’ve been tutoring primary and high school students for almost 4 years, and I absolutely love helping students build confidence and reach their full potential. I know that studying can sometimes feel overwhelming, but trust me, it doesn’t have to be! My goal is to break things down in a way that makes sense to you and to create a friendly, supportive space where you feel comfortable asking questions. I’m here to help, whether you need a deep dive into tricky concepts or just some extra practice to boost your skills. So let’s work together, stay motivated, and make this a great learning journey! Currently studying Actuarial studies at Macquarie uni. I am able to teach all levels of primary and highschool maths since I have successfully studied up to 4 unit maths for my HSC! With years of teaching experience as a tutor helping students ace their school exams and catch up with homework, I would love to guide you with the methods, study tactics and mathematical knowledge and skills :) As a student who recently graduated highschool, I understand the pain and stress school (especially maths) can give you. So let me guide you! I would love to get to know you and be your best friend who you can reach out anytime.
The lessons would look like this :
- 2h lesson once or twice a week (in-person or zoom)
→ for all students, this would include theory lessons ahead of school timetable, school HW help and checking challenging questions from your HW from my lesson!
→for HSC students, this would include school exams & assessments preparation, theory lessons ahead of school timetable, timed past papers as homework, marking and feedback on solved pastpaper!
