About Avery
Hi, I'm Avery! I have a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Minnesota (consistently ranked top 5 ChemE programs in the country). I have always had a passion for teaching and love sharing information with others. I also have a minor in Chemistry and an advanced technical certificate in Applied Data Science & Analysis (python-based) from MIT.

I was an official Organic Chemistry Tutor for the chemistry department at my university and tutored organic chemistry (levels I and II) to undergrad students through the department for 2.5 years.
I try to make learning fun and work closely with students to fit their individual learning style and promote deeper conceptual understanding of the material while also emphasizing practical applications, exercises and examples to improve test performance and critical results.
I have about 2 years of experience privately tutoring various levels of math (everything from high school trig, algebra, pre-calc and AP calc up to college level multivariable calculus, linear algebra and differential equations) and chemistry (general, analytical, organic I and organic II).
