Hello! I'm Gayathri, currently in my first year of university, with a passion for teaching mathematics. As I embark on my educational journey, I find joy in sharing my knowledge and helping others excel in this subject. My tutoring approach is deeply rooted in my own academic success and teaching experience. With outstanding scores of 96 and 97 in IGCSE Additional Maths and Maths, and having just completed my A-level Maths exams, I bring a fresh perspective and thorough knowledge of the current syllabus to my students. I prioritise adaptability, tailoring my teaching style to meet each student's specific needs and learning preferences. In my lessons, which typically run for 120 minutes but can be extended based on student requirements, I emphasise a structured yet personalised approach. I start by addressing core topics and foundational concepts, using topical questions to reinforce understanding before progressing to full past papers. This method allows students to build confidence gradually and develop a comprehensive grasp of the material. Having taught IGCSE Maths & A-level maths previously, I am familiar with common pitfalls and frequently asked questions encountered by students. I leverage this insight to guide my teaching, helping students anticipate challenges and avoid typical mistakes. My goal is to empower students not only to excel in exams but also to develop a deeper understanding for these subjects. While I specialise in the Cambridge syllabus, I remain flexible and adaptable to accommodate students from different backgrounds or curricula. Whether preparing IGCSE or A-level students, I am committed to providing a supportive and enriching learning experience that fosters academic growth and confidence in mathematics.
