About Khusbu
I have been working as a dedicated Maths and Science tutor both online and in person in South West London for 2 years. I teach up to A level in Maths and up to GCSE in all 3 Sciences. I have gained a lot of experience and knowledge in the best techniques to teach each of the subjects. Prior to this, I had been working as an engineer for a few years after having completed my Masters in Advanced Chemical Engineering at University of Birmingham. However, I decided to leave the corporate world and made the shift towards teaching instead. I find it incredibly rewarding to help students realise their full potential and always tailor my lessons to each individual's pace and requirements. I have taught top-tier students who are aiming for the highest grades, as well as the inaccurately deemed "lost causes" who are worried about not achieving that very important pass at GCSE level in the core subjects. I have had a very positive response from the parents of my students, in particular commenting on my calm and patient manner to really achieve those "lightbulb" moments.

I tailor each of my lessons to the student's individual pace to ensure the most effective learning. I prepare all the materials required for the lesson. After introducing a topic and asking the student many questions to ensure understanding, I always like to bring exam-style questions relevant to the topic. It is my belief that the road to getting a good grade requires lots and lots of practice.
