About Manahil
Hi! I'm Manahil, a friendly and enthusiastic tutor with a passion for helping students reach their full potential. I am currently studying A Levels in Mathematics, Chemistry, and Biology, and I aspire to study Medicine at university and become a doctor in the future.
I enjoy working with young people and helping them build confidence in subjects they may find challenging. Through my tutoring experience and my role at Mathnasium, I have developed strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and engaging way.
Outside of my studies, I enjoy reading, debating, volunteering, and keeping active. I also enjoy learning about science and medicine, which inspires me to continue developing my own knowledge while helping others succeed academically.
As a tutor, my aim is to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I believe that with the right guidance and personalised support, every student has the potential to achieve their goals and grow in confidence.

My lessons are designed to be engaging, supportive, and tailored to each student's individual needs. I offer 1 hour online sessions, giving students enough time to fully understand new topics, ask questions, and practise exam-style questions without feeling rushed.
Before we begin, I take the time to understand each student's strengths, areas for improvement, and academic goals. I then personalise every lesson to match their learning style, whether they need help understanding difficult concepts, improving problem-solving skills, or preparing for exams. I focus on breaking down complex topics into simple, easy-to-understand steps and encourage students to think through problems independently to build confidence.
I have experience tutoring students through one-to-one online lessons and also work at Mathnasium, where I support children with mathematics. These experiences have helped me develop strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to adapt my teaching to different abilities and learning styles.
My lessons are suitable for KS3 and GCSE students studying Mathematics and Chemistry. Whether you're aiming to improve your grades, prepare for GCSE exams, catch up on missed content, or build confidence in the subject, I will provide personalised support every step of the way.
My goal is not only to help students achieve excellent results but also to help them enjoy learning and develop the confidence to tackle challenging questions independently.
