About Shraddha

Hi, I’m Shraddha, a software engineer based in Perth with a passion for helping others discover the joy of coding.

I hold a Master’s in Computer Science from the University of Alberta in Canada and a Bachelor’s in Information Technology from the University of Mumbai. Over the past 6 years, I have built software at some of the world’s leading companies, including PayPal and J.P. Morgan Chase, and I now work as a full-stack engineer at a Perth tech company. I am also an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner and have received several awards for my work, including PayPal’s Props Award and J.P. Morgan’s CIO Award.

Throughout my career, I have enjoyed mentoring junior developers, leading small teams, and helping assess candidates as part of J.P. Morgan’s technical recruitment team. These experiences taught me that anyone can learn to code with the right guidance, patience, and encouragement.

I remember how challenging programming felt when I first started, so I make sure my students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. My goal is not just to help you pass a course or an interview, but to help you think like a real developer and feel genuinely confident in your skills.

Having studied and worked in India, Canada, and Australia, I enjoy working with students from all backgrounds, and I look forward to helping you reach your goals!

* About the lessons -
My lessons are practical, patient, and built around you. I believe the best way to learn programming is by writing real code from day one, so every session combines clear explanations with hands-on exercises and small projects you can be proud of. I start by understanding your goals and current level, then create a personalised learning plan that we adjust as you progress.

* My teaching approach -
I break complex topics into simple, logical steps and use real-world examples from my industry experience to show why concepts matter, not just how they work. We code together live, I review your work line by line, and I encourage you to ask “why” as often as you like. Between lessons, I set short practice tasks so you build confidence and keep your momentum going. For interview preparation, I run mock technical interviews and teach structured problem-solving for data structures and algorithms questions.

* Lesson length -
Lessons are typically 60 minutes, which is ideal for focused learning. I also offer 90-minute sessions for project work or interview preparation.

* My experience -
I hold a Master’s in Computer Science from the University of Alberta and have 6 years of experience as a software engineer at PayPal, J.P. Morgan Chase, and currently a Perth tech company. Throughout my career, I have led and mentored small engineering teams, helped onboard new developers, written developer documentation for PayPal’s APIs, and served as a subject matter expert on J.P. Morgan’s recruitment team, where I assessed candidates’ technical skills. I know exactly what employers look for, and I bring that insight to every lesson.
