About Rebecca
Bonjour, je m'appelle Madame Kitto. (But you can call me Becky!) Since studying French at university and being fortunate enough to have spent a great deal of time in the country, I have enjoyed a lifelong passion for my subject and for sharing my knowledge with other people.
I have taught at both Primary and Secondary level and I'm sure I will be able to help you to fulfil any of your French-focussed ambitions!
Need a bespoke programme? I am proud to have worked on a number of curriculum projects and enjoy nothing more than thinking about new and creative ways to teach and learn my subject. My prior work includes the: 'Inspire' primary languages curriculum, and the History Association's cross-curricular 'Agincourt' project. This latter project was especially exciting because it demanded a learning experience that could combine a passion for both the French language and the history of the country.
Whatever your aspirations for the language, I would be delighted to help and I am sure that my individual and fun methodology will take you one step further on your road to fluency.

Lessons are fully tailored to meet your individual needs whether for school, business or leisure purposes. I have taught languages for over 25 years as a Personal Tutor, Secondary School Teacher and Primary Languages Specialist.
At Primary level, lessons include songs, stories and games to make learning fun. At Secondary level, we will work through a programme designed to support your goals whether it be improvement in listening skills or grammar for GCSE.
Lessons are for a minimum of 30 minutes but usually an hour.
