I have both the experience and the passion for teaching. I taught at the Jr HS level (NYC) for nine and a half years, received my Masters in French, (minor: Spanish) from Columbia University. I love teaching languages as it is akin to walking through a door to a whole new world: language, culture and sound.
I will help you with your class requirements and testing, your pronunciation and grammar as well as the idiomatic nuances of the language.
I am patient, highly encouraging and use my musical background in teaching languages as they each have a distinct musicality.
Lessons are geared for Beginner and Intermediate students as well as for those looking to better their pronunciation and conversation.
Lesson plans depend on the individual requirements of the student and the books/materials being used.
