About Dianne
i have a university degree with concentration in Linguistics. I have TESOL and TEFL certification. I have varied tutoring experience including tutoring Korean students in private school setting, teaching spanish speaking adults in Belize, Central America, and teaching adult refugees and new immigrants to Canada. I currently tutor a brazilian student online.

I take into consideration the needs and goals of my students. I enjoy grammar and like to teach it as the building blocks of the language. This, along with emphasis on building vocabulary gives the student the tools they need to converse in everyday situations. I believe conversation practice is essential to build confidence and fluency in what is being learned.
