About Luke
I’m passionate about teaching and learning, and I bring that enthusiasm into every lesson. With a Master’s degree in Environment, Society, and Development and a strong background in English from my undergraduate studies, I’m well-equipped to help you achieve your language goals. Over the past 7 years, I’ve taught English in schools and language academies in Spain and Japan, which has given me valuable insights into different learning styles and cultural perspectives.
When I’m not teaching, I love traveling and exploring new languages—I speak Spanish and am currently learning Japanese. This personal experience with language learning helps me understand the challenges you might face and the best ways to overcome them.

My Approach to Tutoring:
Techniques and Methodology: I keep things interactive and enjoyable, using a variety of exercises, multimedia, and real-life examples to make learning engaging. Whether you’re a visual learner or prefer hands-on practice, I’ll adjust my methods to match your style and ensure you get the most out of our sessions.
Typical Length of a Lesson: Lessons usually last about 60 minutes. This duration helps us stay focused and cover plenty of material without feeling rushed or overwhelmed.
Qualifications/Experience: I hold a Master’s in Environment, Society, and Development, and studied English as part of my undergraduate degree. With over 7 years of teaching experience, including time spent in Spain and Japan, I’ve gained a broad perspective on different educational contexts and how to connect with diverse learners.
