About Jacqueline
As an experienced and certified TEFL, TESOL English tutor, I have taught many students from diverse professions and varied backgrounds from all over the world to achieve their English language goals. Ranging from University and work interviews, to building up Business English confidence in the workplace. I've helped students achieve IETLS success, as well as students who just needed that confidence boost and support.
With over 15+ years experience working in the British & American Broadcasting and Media industry, I have real world experience and knowledge of the Media, Business and Cooperate world which is an invaluable insight I can give my students, who are looking to gain confidence in the English language for both Business and Leisure.
I grew up in a (Chinese, South African) household, and now live in a bilingual (Italian) home, so I understand the vulnerability of how it feels to want to learn a language, and how empowered you can feel achieving your goals - to feel confident and comfortably part of the conversation is a wonderful feeling !

My tutoring approach from our first lesson together is to listen to your needs and then create an agreed bespoke plan, whilst also ensuring that we can expand your vocabulary, language range and grammar accuracy, whether it be for business, academic or further social situations.
I've experienced overwhelmingly positive outcomes tutoring students for their IELTS, TOEFL exams, and job/masters degree interviews, where test practise and feedback has played an invaluable part in their success.
As a native UK speaker in London, I can offer online tutoring to students from around the world.
My tutoring style is a mix of coaching, adaptability, fun, and support. I don’t prefer any one teaching method, or one way of interacting with students, because each student is different, and I look to adjust my teaching methods according to your needs.
The main thing is to enjoy it, and feel more confident as you progress learning English!

Jacqueline is a fanatastic tutor who greatly supported me to pass my B2 CEFR exams. Since then she has been invaluable to help me keep up with my day to day conversation practice.
Her ability to be able to speak Italian with me has also been an enormous help towards my learning progress. She is the best!I've had Jacqueline help me with writing prompts and interviews for IELTS.
It's obvious she's an experienced teacher. Her patience and kind nature makes it easy for someone who isn't a native speaker like me to make mistakes without feeling ashamed. Her vocabulary is huge and she's articulate, so you can count on her for proofreading. Plus, she's easy to talk to, so if you need help brainstorming a prompt, she'll be able to help.
