About Samantha
Most of my experience is with grades 9-12 with a heavy focus on writing instruction and critical thinking skills. I have taught AP English Language and Composition courses for the last 3 years with a high rate of success with students scoring 3 or higher on the AP exam. I have also taught American Literature for 11+ years with over a 92% success rate on the state standardized assessment. I have guided multiple workshops on college application/scholarship writing, resume writing, and argumentative writing. Also, I have assisted with county curriculum development for grades 9-12 in one of the largest school districts in my state.
