About Elizabeth
I have been teaching English subjects since 2003 and have supported, in this time, many thousands of students. I predominantly work with students and young adults who have become disengaged with education, or have yet to achieve their grade 4 or above and have had above national average successes.

I pride myself on being the most supportive teacher I can be. I encourage students to attempt the impossible (for them) and to enjoy English lessons, either by planning my sessions around varied media - using videos and modern approaches to teaching the syllabus and by tapping into their development areas.
The planning of my sessions centres around the needs of the students; I differentiate work, stretch and challenge all learners within their unique capabilities and ensure both learning and assessments of progress are completed regularly. I am adept at exam technique and I also give my time as an exam marker for AQA.
For me, the best part is seeing a student succeed, to say they have enjoyed their time with me and feel that learning is a benefit to their future.
